Travis W.T. Grafe
Travis W. T. Grafe was born and raised in Belleville, Illinois, where he graduated from Belleville Township High School West in 1995. Upon graduating from Belleville West, Mr. Grafe attended Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology upon graduation in 1999.
After graduating from Bradley University, Mr. Grafe attended The University of Tulsa, College of Law in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he graduated with a degree in Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2002. While attending law school, Mr. Grafe expanded his interest in the field of criminal law by interning for the Honorable Linda Morrissey, District Judge for the 14th Judicial District, Tulsa, Oklahoma. While interning for the Honorable Judge Morrissey, Mr. Grafe observed the practice and art of criminal defense on a daily basis, furthering his hunger for defense work. After his internship ended, Mr. Grafe gladly accepted an internship with the Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office. While interning, Mr. Grafe directed his attention to the field of criminal law and defense while observing and assisting in a wide area of criminal cases.
Upon passing the Oklahoma Bar Examination in 2002, Mr. Grafe initially centered his practice on the private sector, concentrating his efforts in the areas of family and domestic law as well as criminal defense. In early 2003, Mr. Grafe again gladly accepted a position at The Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office, this time as an Assistant Public Defender. Mr. Grafe quickly embraced the vast reservoir of knowledge and experience of the Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office. As an Associate, Mr. Grafe worked as a member of the felony trial staff gaining experience with a wide variety of criminal matters ranging from misdemeanors to murder cases, further expanding and building on his passion of criminal defense.
Upon passing the Missouri Bar Examination in 2006, Mr. Grafe joined The Lowry Law Firm as an Associate with one goal in mind: to apply his vast criminal experience to protecting and defending the rights of private criminal defendants. Mr. Grafe strives on a daily basis to effectuate that goal by focusing on felony and misdemeanor trials as well as plea negotiations with prosecutors. Upon passing the Illinois Bar in 2007, Mr. Grafe hopes to expand his passion for criminal law into a third State’s jurisdiction.
Mr. Grafe prides himself on complete client satisfaction by using his experience to maximize results. Mr. Grafe will continue to zealously serve residents of both Jefferson and surrounding Missouri counties as well as clients of both Oklahoma and Illinois using the skills and knowledge he possesses through his vast experience acquired in the field of criminal law.
